2. Lawful Basis, Notice & Consent

3.1 Professionals You Engage

3.2 Government Authorities & Statutory Bodies
We may share information with relevant government departments such as the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, GST, Income Tax, Labour, or other regulators for filings, compliance submissions, or lawful directives.
3.3 Authorized Service Providers
We rely on trusted third-party vendors for:
- Website hosting and infrastructure maintenance
- Secure cloud data storage
- Analytics for performance and improvement
- Verified email/SMS delivery and OTPs
- Payment gateways for secure transaction processing

PART C – PAYMENT, CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY
Legal Workz (“the Firm”) is committed to providing fair, transparent, and ethical service to all Users, in line with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and Information Technology Act, 2000.
1. Payments
- All payments must be made in advance before using paid services.
- Accepted methods: credit card, debit card, UPI, net banking, and recognized payment gateways.
- Payment confirmation will be sent via email.
- The User must ensure payment accuracy; Legal Workz is not liable for third-party errors.
2. Cancellations
- Cancellations are permitted within twenty-four (24) hours of order placement and before any service initiation or professional allocation.
- Once work has begun, cancellations are not permitted.
3. Refunds
- Refunds are available if:
- the service has not been initiated;
- Legal Workz fails to allocate a professional within seven (7) working days or initiate action within fifteen (15) days; or
- duplicate/failed transactions occur.
- No refund after service initiation or delivery.
- Refund requests must be submitted via email or support ticket.
4. Review and Approval
Refunds are reviewed by Senior Management; decisions are final and binding.
5. Delays Beyond Control (Force Majeure)
Legal Workz is not liable for delays or cancellations caused by events beyond control, including holidays, government delays, acts of God, war, riots, cyberattacks, or cable disruptions.
6. Refund Process and Deductions
- Approved refunds will have a 10% deduction for processing fees.
- Refunds will be processed within fifteen (15) working days to the original payment source.
6.1A Consultation Cancellation by Professional or Firm
If a consultation is cancelled due to the Professional’s or Firm’s unavailability or technical issues, the User may choose either:
- a replacement consultation, or
- a full refund within fifteen (15) working days.
7. Exceptional Circumstances
Definition – Exceptional circumstances include verified technical failures, portal downtime, illness or death of the User or Professional, government restrictions, or duplicate transactions.
In such cases, Legal Workz may offer goodwill refunds or credits at its discretion. The maximum refund shall not exceed the original amount paid.
8. Chargebacks & Disputes
Before initiating a chargeback, the User must first contact Legal Workz for resolution. Fraudulent chargebacks may result in suspension of services and recovery action.

Legal Workz shall provide a certificate under Section 63(4) of the Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam, 2023 to verify system integrity and record authenticity during proceedings.
